How to apply Interior Flex

Directions for Use

Stir thoroughly, check colour before use. Apply by brush roller or spray. Do not apply at temperatures below 8o Centigrade.  Ensure all surfaces are free from oil, grease, dirt, dust and loose particles. On existing painted surfaces remove all loose and flaking paint and rub down with abrasive paper where necessary.  Areas affected by mould should be treated with a suitable fungicidal wash. On plasterboard or any porous substrate the first coat should be thinned with approximately 30% clean water. After preparation, brush neat Interior-Flex into hairline cracks and allow to dry. Then apply one or two full coats over the whole area as required. Larger cracks or voids will need filling with a flexible filler.

Coverage

5 litres will cover approximately 50 sq metres per coat depending upon substrate texture, porosity and application method.

Drying

Touch dry 2 hours, recoatable after 4 hours at 18oC relative humidity.

Cleanup

Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use.

Flash Point

Not applicable - water based.
